Certainly, the h2o I give him will become in him a spring of h2o welling as much as eternal existence.” 15 The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water in order that I will not get thirsty and have to keep returning right here to attract h2o.” 16 He informed her, “Go, call your spouse and come back again.” 17 “I have no partner,” she replied. Jesus stated to her, “You are correct when you say you have no spouse. 18 The truth is, you have had 5 husbands, and the guy you now have is not your spouse. What you’ve just said is fairly true.” 19 “Sir,” the lady stated, “I can see that you are a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews declare that the spot where we must worship is in Jerusalem.” 21 Jesus declared, “Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you’ll worship the father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from your Jews. 23 Still a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the daddy in spirit and truth of the matter, for they would be the kind of worshipers the daddy seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers should worship in spirit and in truth of the matter.” 25 The lady stated, “I realize that Messiah” (called Christ) “is returning. When he comes, he will clarify everything to us.” 26 Then Jesus declared, “I who converse
