You can be sure there are plenty of questions about how to find award winning science fair projects. Awards and good grades are great, but should not be your primary motivation for school work. You do not want to be taking short cuts. just keep the drive being doing your best work. Do that and everything else will fall into place. For example, you might say it is good enough if you followed the directions and kept track of the data for 6 hours like the directions said. But it might mean you shouldgo longer to fully be able to see the whole picture and draw a valid conclusion.

You could have a perfect project but with a messy looking, shoddy report. Or the write up and display can be awesome, but the project itself was undoubtedly done quickly and was not detailed enough.
It is pretty easy really, do not settle for what is good enough. Just take your time and do your best work. It should come naturally to keep at it and work until you are satisfied if you are curious and have an interest in the project. This puts you right on the path to award winning science fair projects.
